You’ll get hands-on training with advanced welding concepts, plus the option to choose a specialization in pipe welding or robotics. Brighten your career prospects by gaining the skills and knowledge employers in the construction, engineering, auto and aerospace industries need.

  • Develop the skills employers look for through hands-on projects, blueprint interpretation, layout and welding practice. Students in the Robotics concentration also gain up to 300 hours working with FANUC, Panasonic and OTC robots. 
  • Flexible course options. Classes are offered day and night on the Elkhorn and Racine campuses so you can learn when and where it’s most convenient for you.
  • Build your resume. You’ll earn the Welding/Maintenance & Fabrication technical diploma in your first semester of the Welding program, so you’ll be prepared for an entry-level welding position as you continue your education.   
  • Study with award-winning faculty who bring years of experience in the field, including print reading and safety techniques for MIG, TIG, stick/arc, gas and plasma welding.
